Fundermax is proud to announce that we have recently completed our Intertek Code Compliance Research Report for all of our commercial exterior façade systems in the USA.
We now have 2021 IBC Code Compliance with Exposed, Concealed, and Modulo fastening systems. This is the highest level of code compliance for the USA and is all third-party verified testing.
The 2021 IBC Code requires passing the updated 2019 NFPA285 assembly test, and all of our listed systems meet the new standard.
An Intertek CCRR is evidence to architects and AHJ’s that our products and systems meet all applicable codes and standards and that our production facilities maintain ongoing inspections and Quality Control Audits.
A CCRR is a 3rd party verified technical report that summarizes a manufacturer's testing data that demonstrates to code officials, engineers, architects, and industry code compliance of a product or system.
CCRR’s address and confirm compliance with the International Building Code, 2021 (IBC). CCRR’s summarize the relevant code information into a single document. They also identify the critical elements of the construction needed to meet the requirements of the code.
Having a Code Compliance Research Report confirms that Fundermax meets the most current IBC code requirements through rigorous testing, evaluation, and ongoing verification of compliance.
This program includes ongoing quality control audits, factory inspections, and material witnessing, which ensures that the product tested is the same product sold into the market.
Fundermax’s Intertek CCRR was developed under the supervision of a professionally licensed Intertek engineer, separate from the testing process. This ensures an independent review of the testing necessary to demonstrate compliance with the code.
Intertek CCRR’s are accepted by building officials throughout the US as a valid research report confirming code compliance from an approved source.
Fundermax continues to lead the charge on code compliance and testing in North America, having the most comprehensive list of approved wall configurations and panel installation systems available in the market.
Our 8mm and 10mm exposed fastener, 10mm concealed fastener, and 8mm Modulo fastener systems are all listed as compliant with the 2021 IBC Code when installed per the details in our report.
